Gresham Smith is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join the Building Engineering team in Nashville. You will serve as the primary technical representative for industrial consulting services, preparing proposals and leading structural design tasks for large projects.

Requirements include a civil engineering degree with a structural focus, 5+ years of experience, P.E. licensure, and experience with design software like RISA, RAM, Navis Manage, Tedds, RetainPro, and Adapt-Building.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; up to 10 years recommended.
• Experience in structural steel, concrete, masonry; wind/seismic design.
• Proficient with RISA, RAM, Navis Manage, Tedds, RetainPro, Adapt-Building.
• P.E. licensure; S.E. license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan, schedule and coordinate structural engineering work for projects.
• Prepare plans, specifications and engineering drawings; review revisions.
• Lead and mentor team members on engineering tasks.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities and contractors; manage risks.
• Support business development and prepare technical proposals.
