Position Overview and Responsibilities

The Porter will perform daily cleaning and light maintenance, including debris removal, interior and exterior cleaning, maintaining common areas, cleaning vacant apartments, and responding to emergencies. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, dedicated, and capable of multitasking.

This is an in-person role located in downtown Portland, OR, Pearl District. It requires weekend availability, a Tuesday-Saturday 8am-5pm schedule, and a rotating on-call schedule including weekends and evenings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs and building improvements
• Clean the storefront, office, lobby, and common amenity areas
• Maintain hallways, stairways, parking garage, and elevators
• Place safety hazard signs as needed
• Monitor bathroom cleanliness
• Respond to spills and cleaning crises
• Remove trash from all waste rooms
• Power wash when necessary
• Perform additional duties as assigned
