******Position Overview and Responsibilities

At Sentral, we are building a team of people-first focused individuals who thrive on going above and beyond. The Porter will perform day-to-day cleaning and light building maintenance. Overall duties will include removing debris, cleaning interior and exterior areas of the community, maintaining common area amenity spaces, cleaning vacant apartments and responding to all cleaning emergencies. The successful candidate will be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.

T his is an in-person position located in downtown Portland, OR in the Pearl District. Weekend availability is required, and this role will have a Tuesday-Saturday 8am-5pm schedule. T his position also requires a rotating on-call schedule that includes weekends and evenings.

What You'll Do:

• Complete minor repairs and building improvements
• Prepare office for the day by cleaning the store front, office and lobby
• Clean all common amenity areas including bathrooms, fitness center, community lounge, rooftop deck, pool lounge
• Clean hallways, stairways, parking garage and elevators
• When applicable, place safety hazard signs in the building including wet paint and wet floor warning signs
• Monitor bathrooms for cleanliness
• Respond to any major spills or other cleaning crises
• Remove litter and rubbish from all trash rooms
• Power wash as needed
• Perform other related duties and assignments as needed and assigned
