CBRE in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Building Engineer responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and safety systems. You will support preventive maintenance and respond to urgent repairs to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires 4–5 years of related experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and certifications such as Universal CFC; familiarity with MS Office and strong math/organizational skills.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required; 4–5 years field experience preferred.
• Universal CFC certification preferred; other licenses as required by local/state jurisdictions.
• Ability to meet physical requirements listed (stooping, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and mathematical/problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and life safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety policies.
• Maintain an energy management program to optimize system efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and perform emergency repairs.
• Follow policies for hazardous materials storage, usage, and disposal; keep a clean, safe workplace.
• Review inspections of building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for design compliance.
• Apply standard principles to complete complex tasks and offer solutions.
• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge across disciplines.
• Lead by example and help build consensus within CBRE teams.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, and service activities within teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and explain complex information clearly.
