Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Building Engineer to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned properties. You will perform rounds, preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor energy management systems, and respond to emergencies while keeping safety and building performance a priority.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, 5–10 years in similar roles, appropriate trade licenses, and CMMS/MS

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of related work experience operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property.
• Appropriate trade license/permits may be required (Journeyman/Master Electrician, etc.).
• Proficient with MS Office suite and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, pumps, and air distribution systems.
• Monitor energy management systems and adjust equipment for comfort.
• Respond to emergencies and report activities to supervisor.
