Job summary

Omega Law Group in West Hollywood is seeking a skilled Building Engineer to manage HVAC, electrical, and building systems at our state-of-the-art facility. You will oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors to ensure safety, comfort, and energy efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in building services, strong knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in building service engineering or related field.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience with building automation systems and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics.
• Valid California driver’s license; knowledge of local codes and safety regs.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, inspect, and repair HVAC, refrigeration, boiler, and related building systems.
• Monitor building automation and control systems for energy efficiency.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures promptly.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and maintain records.
• Respond to service requests and emergencies (e.g., HVAC failure, leaks).
• Coordinate contractors and vendors for maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Support after-hours emergencies and track progress of work.
