Job summary

CP Group, a vertically integrated commercial real estate and management firm headquartered in Boca Raton, FL, seeks a Building Engineer to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, water treatment and life safety systems for the assigned property(s).

The Building Engineer must provide high levels of customer service to tenants, with a can-do attitude and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.
• Universal CFC certification.
• Appropriate license/permit for trade as may be required.
• Experience with HVAC, boilers, pumps, refrigerant systems and energy management.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, pumps, and air distribution systems.
• Inspect and repair building systems and perform preventive maintenance per OEM standards.
• Respond to tenant calls and emergencies with priority and safety in mind.
• Monitor energy management and report activities to supervisor.
