FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
This position directly supervises day porters, maintenance technicians, and maintenance assistants. The Engineer maintains and operates large and small-scale HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, boiler systems, control systems, and their support equipment. They respond to tenant service requests, troubleshoot problems, recommend enhancements for all building mechanical and electrical systems, and work on special projects assigned by the Chief Engineer. The Engineer is considered essential personnel and must respond to after-hour emergencies.
The physical demands include standing for long periods, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This position is safety-sensitive.
Carr Properties offers a comprehensive benefits package with an anticipated total compensation of $78,900-$105,900, based on experience.
