Job summary

ECS is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Associate in Irvine, CA to support building enclosure consulting through field investigations, testing, analysis, and report preparation. You will work with experienced consultants and multidisciplinary project teams to evaluate envelope performance and help ensure construction quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of related experience with building enclosure consulting, including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx), design review, or forensic assessments.
• Licensure or certifications may be required depending on the type of work performed.

Responsibilities

• Support building science & infrastructure testing, inspections, and consulting services.
• Coordinate site observations and inspections of roofing and building enclosure systems.
• Prepare clear technical reports summarizing observations, testing results, and recommendations.
