ECS Group of Companies in Irvine, CA, seeks a Building Enclosure Project Associate to support our Pacific Building Science & Infrastructure team. You will perform field investigations, testing, analysis, and reporting to improve building envelope performance across diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of building enclosure consulting experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Licensure or certifications may be required depending on the type of work performed.

Responsibilities

• Perform building science & infrastructure testing, inspections, and consulting services.
• Conduct site observations and inspections of roofing and building enclosure systems.
• Interpret drawings and site plans; assist with CAD work.
• Perform testing and assist with testing protocols and plans.
• Interpret test results, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with forensic assessments, commissioning activities, and enclosure investigations.
• Assist with design reviews and peer review of specs and submittals.
• Maintain familiarity with building codes and standards.
