Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks a Building Enclosure Senior Project Associate to join our Pacific Building Science & Infrastructure team in California. You will manage and develop building enclosure consulting projects, serve as a lead technical consultant on enclosure design, and provide solutions to project teams and owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Building Science, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of related experience with building enclosure consulting, including on-site construction observation, field investigations, testing, inspections, commissioning (BECx) or forensic investigations.
• Licensure or certification: RA, PE, IIBEC (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP) or UW–Madison BECxP/CxA+BE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage building science & infrastructure projects from setup through completion.
• Coordinate project teams and direct site activities with field staff, subcontractors, and senior managers.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule, scope, and budget objectives.
• Prepare and review proposals, change orders, budgets, and invoices.
• Monitor project progress and communicate schedule updates and testing activities.
