Job summary

ECS Group is seeking a Building Enclosure Staff Associate to join the Mid-Atlantic Building Science + Infrastructure team in Mechanicsburg, PA. The role focuses on supporting building enclosure consulting projects, with hands-on field experience, testing, and report preparation as part of a collaborative team.

You will learn to interpret drawings and site plans, participate in field investigations, and develop skills in building envelope performance assessment while working with experienced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering or Architecture (NCARB).
• 0 years of related experience required. Certifications such as EIT or IIBEC (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP) would go a long way.

Responsibilities

• Support building science & infrastructure testing, inspections, and consulting services.
• Conduct site observations and inspections of roofing and building enclosure systems with guidance from senior staff.
• Assist with drafting or CAD work when needed.
• Develop and document field observations and prepare field reports describing findings and conditions.
• Support analysis of field observations and testing results to support project conclusions.
