Carrier’s Automated Logic division seeks a Building Controls Sales Specialist in the Centennial area to grow the commercial client base and consistently exceed sales targets. This field-focused role involves 80% site visits and 20% office work, leveraging CRM tools and cross-functional teams to deliver building automation solutions.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 4+ years of sales experience, with HVAC knowledge strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of sales experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• HVAC experience or HVAC controls sales preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 products.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent communication at all levels; team player.
• Experience in HVAC, BAS or commercial construction desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial growth by expanding the client portfolio and achieving targets.
• Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Position ALC as the preferred building automation solution through market presence.
• Prepare detailed take-offs and competitive bids across ALC offerings.
• Influence design specifications with engineers and contractors.
• Lead contract negotiations and define scope, pricing, and terms.
• Deliver persuasive presentations to building owners and representatives.
• Plan and execute sales activities with CRM tools; build a robust pipeline.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Advocate for customers and ensure satisfaction.
