Job summary

Trane Technologies in the New England area is hiring a Controls Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on building automation design using direct digital controls for a variety of building types.

You will review contract documents, develop installation drawings, submittal drawings, and transition documentation to field teams while ensuring seamless project delivery and a strong client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• HVAC systems and building automation knowledge required.
• Experience with project management or estimating in HVAC.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure basics.

Responsibilities

• Design controls using direct digital controls for diverse building types.
• Review contract documents and incorporate into automation design.
• Create installation drawings, submittal drawings, as-built drawings, and transition to service.
• Develop advanced sequences of operations to meet project requirements.
• Generate Operation and Maintenance Manuals and support field handover.
• Review equipment submittals and integrate into design.
• Transfer documents to the field and maintain client satisfaction.
