Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Controls Team Leader on-site to guide a team of technicians in installing, programming, commissioning, and servicing building automation systems. You will work with project managers, engineers, and customers to ensure high quality execution and exceptional system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent not required but preferred for HVAC/control roles.
• HVAC/building automation controls knowledge and safety aware.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Controls Technicians to meet project goals.
• Oversee installation, programming, and commissioning per specs.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for control systems and equipment.
• Review diagnostics and commissioning reports for performance.
• Coordinate workloads with project managers and engineers.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Document installations, commissioning results, and service activities.
• Uphold safety standards and company procedures.
• Support continuous process improvements and team efficiency.
• Foster a collaborative, safe, high‑performing team environment.
