Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree (or 3+ years HVAC project management) required.
• 4-year degree preferred; practical experience valued.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, BAS and temperature controls.
• Knowledge of construction/renovation, performance contracting and project management preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design building controls using direct digital controls for various building types.
• Review contract documents, proposals, and specs for automation design.
• Create installation, submittal, and as-built drawings; transition to service.
• Develop advanced sequences of operations to meet project requirements.
• Prepare operations manuals and review equipment submittals for design incorporation.
• Collaborate with BAS technicians, assist with wiring, programming and commissioning.
• Maintain knowledge of Trane controls products and third-party devices.
• Assist in cost estimation and provide guidance to project team.
