Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Controls Technician for building automation systems. You will diagnose, repair, install and commission control equipment on site, delivering high levels of customer satisfaction with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Six years of commercial controls troubleshooting experience in HVAC.
• Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
• Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex control systems malfunctions across various electronic or digital controls.
• Consult with customers to gather data and provide field proposals for retrofits/upgrades.
• Assist sales by providing technical recommendations for leads.
• Manage assigned work to ensure timely, high-quality execution and customer satisfaction.
• Provide sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections.
