Job summary

Quantum Building Solutions, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Building Automation Technician to diagnose problems, service BAS/DDC systems, and implement solutions in the field. This hands-on role offers growth opportunities as the company expands its building automation capabilities.

The position is full-time with a take-home company vehicle, gas card, and company-provided laptop and phone. Eligible for 100% employer-paid medical coverage for employees and families, a 401(k) with 4% company

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on DDC/BAS experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems and building automation
• Ability to troubleshoot controls and system-level issues independently
• Programming with DDC, PLC, and Ladder Logic
• Familiar with major controls manufacturers such as Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, ABB
• Niagara/N4 certification preferred
• Valid driver's license with clean record

Building Automation Technician

Location: Austin, TX Compensation: $35-$50/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Full-time

We're looking for an experienced Building Automation Technician to join a growing team in Austin, TX. This is a hands-on service position for someone who enjoys diagnosing problems, working with HVAC control systems, and finding solutions in the field. As the company continues to expand, there is plenty of opportunity to strengthen your technical skills and grow your career in building automation.

Skills Needed

• At least 3 years of hands-on DDC/BAS experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems and building automation
• Proven ability to troubleshoot controls and system-level issues independently
• Programming experience with DDC, PLC, and/or Ladder Logic
• Familiarity with major controls manufacturers such as Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, ABB, or similar platforms
• Niagara/N4 certification is preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
