Job summary

Quantum Building Solutions, Inc. in Richardson, TX is seeking a Controls Service Tech to service, troubleshoot, and repair BAS/BMS systems. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage, a daytime schedule, and occasional overtime for project needs.

You will work with HVAC controls, DDC systems, and platform integrations (Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, ABB, Niagara/N4 preferred). Benefits include employer-paid medical, 401(k) with company match, PTO, holidays, a company vehicle

Qualifications

• : 3+ years of experience with DDC/BAS systems.
• 2: Strong troubleshooting and programming skills (ladder logic/PLC/DDC).
• 3: Experience with major controls platforms (Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, ABB, etc.).
• 4: Niagara/N4 certification (preferred).
• 5: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS).
• Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC controls and DDC systems.
• Support integration and programming of control systems.
• Assist with larger projects alongside engineering and project teams.
• Work with platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Distech, ABB.

Location: Richardson, TX

Pay Range: $35-$50/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (with occasional overtime/weekends)
