Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Automation System Engineer to provide program oversight for operation and maintenance of building automation systems to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

You will support the Engineering and Technical Services function with preventive maintenance, repairs, and system optimization across facilities, while aligning with CBRE's standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 4-5 years of related experience (or combination of experience and education).
• Ability to meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting 50 lbs or more).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a total facilities systems management program for electrical, mechanical, life, and safety systems.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives related to system operations.
• Inspect systems to ensure operations meet design specs and client requirements.
• Oversee scope development, scheduling, and inspection of work by outside contractors.
