Job summary
Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a Building Automation Systems Specialist to install, operate and maintain the building automation and direct digital control systems across the facility. You will work with pneumatic and electronic controls to ensure reliable environmental conditions and energy efficiency.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science (or equivalent experience), five years of related experience, and a valid driver's license.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Or High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years experience in system commissioning and/or programming of DDC systems and HVAC control systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, calibrate and program Direct Digital Control systems, sensors and pneumatic controls for BMS.
- Respond to hospital emergencies including leaks, odors and fire alarms.
- Design and install modifications of pneumatic controls for energy conservation.
- Lubricate bearings and PMs on HVAC units; operate air compressors and related components.
