Job summary

Children’s National Hospital is seeking an experienced Building Automation Technician to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the hospital’s HVAC and building systems. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Preferred Trade or Tech School in HVAC or Refrigeration.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience with 2 years operating computerized building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate building automation systems and associated equipment to maintain environmental conditions.
• Perform preventive/corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing components.
• Respond to hospital emergencies and coordinate with staff to ensure patient safety.
