Children's National Hospital is seeking a Building Automation Systems Specialist in Washington, DC. You will install, operate and maintain direct digital control systems and pneumatic temperature controls for hospital facilities, responding to emergencies and ensuring reliability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or 4+ years of relevant commissioning/programming experience, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field; specialized training in building automation and facility management (Required).
• Or: High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years experience in commissioning and/or programming of DDC systems and HVAC control systems (Required).
• 5 years of related and progressive experience, emphasis on automatic temperature controls (Required).

Responsabilités

• Maintain, set up, calibrate and program Direct Digital Control Systems and pneumatic controls.
• Lubricate bearings and operate HVAC components to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform PMs on HVAC units to maintain environment conditions.
• Design and install pneumatic control modifications for energy efficiency.
• Respond to temperature control issues and troubleshoot effectively.
