About the Role
As a Building Automation Installation Specialist, you will install, assemble, route, and repair electrical wiring and components required for engineered building automation and security systems. This role focuses on safe, code-compliant electrical installation supporting automation and HVAC control systems across a variety of project environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and install electrical wiring and equipment per job specs and local codes
- Pull wire, install conduit, and complete circuit connections
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment
- Test circuits and systems using meters and testing devices
- Install systems using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding
- Maintain personal and jobsite safety standards
- Support installation of automation, control, and HVAC-related systems
What We’re Looking For
- Prior training and experience in the electrical field
- Experience using multimeters and digital test equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Basic understanding of automation controls, PLCs, VFDs
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical operations
