Job summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in thermal management and building systems, seeks an experienced engineer to design, service and commission complete HVAC building control systems and low-voltage subsystems. You will develop software, provide submittals, and ensure quality and timely delivery to customers.

Responsibilities include creating drawings and schedules, coordinating material orders, and assisting in site commissioning and validation with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or minimum eight years' experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC industry, building automation, and control subsystems.
• Experience integrating low voltage subsystems using industry protocols (LON, BACnet).
• Strong communication, both technical and for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Designs, configures and services complex building control systems for facilities.
• Develops software programs for system operation and commissioning.
• Creates drawings, BOMs, schedules, and schematics for submittals and installation.
• Coordinates material orders and delivery for assigned jobs.
• Assists in loading, commissioning, and validation of system functionality with subcontractors.
