Job summary

Baker Group in Kansas City, MO is seeking an Automation Technician/Engineer to perform start-up, checkout and programming for building automation and control systems. You will work with design and operation engineers to ensure system commissioning and performance.

Responsibilities include interpreting SOO, ladder logic, structured text, and function block programming; mentoring technicians; leading medium to large projects; setting up networks, graphics, dashboards; and ensuring QA/QC and safety

Qualifications

Four to seven years of Automation related field experience.
Associate degree in Electronic, Technology, or Automation related field or equivalent on the job experience.
Ability to read and interpret SOO and apply to program logic.

Responsibilities

Start-up of microprocessor based control components including PLC and DDC controllers.
Read and write ladder logic, structured text and function block programming.
Mentor Automation Technicians I and II and oversee projects.
Create and troubleshoot automation networks and graphics.
Lead medium to large size projects and coordinate with design/operation staff.
