Job summary

Baker Group seeks an experienced Automation Technician to lead start-up, commissioning, and programming of building automation systems. You will interpret sequence of operations, write ladder logic and structured text, and mentor junior technicians on projects.

You will set up networks, calibrate sensors, and develop graphics and dashboards. Strong PLC/DDC experience and driving license are required.

Qualifications

• Four to seven years of automation-related field experience.
• Associate degree in electronic/technology/automation or equivalent on-the-job.

Responsibilities

• Start-up of microprocessor-based control components (PLC, DDC, sensors, actuators).
• Interpret SOO and apply to program logic; upload/download control software.
• Lead medium to large projects and mentor Automation Technicians.
• Create automation networks, alarms, and graphics; troubleshoot HVAC/electrical systems.
