Jacobs in Conshohocken, PA is seeking a Building Automation and Controls Engineer to design BAS for HVAC and mechanical systems, lead on-site startup, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to meet schedule and technical quality.

You’ll work with DDC/PLC/DCS controls, AF&IDs, P&IDs, and sequences of operations, bring strong communication and analytical skills, and contribute to project success through collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience with Building Automation and HVAC systems.
• Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS and other controls applications.
• Experience with AF&IDs, P&IDs, Sequence of Operations, I/O List and technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Produce Building Automation System designs for HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work with staff and discipline lead.
• Ensure schedule adherence and technical quality of engineering tasks.
• Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to meet client expectations.
