Jacobs in Conshohocken, PA is seeking a Building Automation and Controls Engineer to design BAS for HVAC and mechanical systems, coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team and ensuring technical quality.

You will provide on-site startup support, manage client expectations, and contribute to projects spanning industrial and commercial facilities with a strong emphasis on reliability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with Building Automation and HVAC Systems.
• Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS and other controls applications.
• Experience with AF&IDs, P&IDs, Sequence of Operations, I/O List and specs.

Responsibilities

• Produce Building Automation System designs for HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Ensure schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup and commissioning.
• Coordinate work with staff and the discipline lead.
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams on project delivery.
