Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation recruits a Controls Engineer to design and program building automation systems for customer sites in a collaborative team. You will work on larger projects and apply your knowledge of HVAC controls and building automation software.

A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred; relevant experience with BAS software and protocols such as BACnet/Modbus is valued. Attractive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical discipline OR Associate degree with 2+ years in HVAC/control design or testing OR HS diploma with 4+ years in HVAC/control design or testing.
Experience with building automation software and control systems is preferred.
Knowledge of Automated Logic software, hardware, peripherals, add-ons, and services is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and program building automation systems and site-specific control configurations.
Adhere to project requirements, company standards and customer design standards in programming.
Create clear design documents with technical information for project teams; document and communicate designs.
Develop and test graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation.
Support functional testing and provide technical support to sales representatives.
Identify and communicate project opportunities and risks.
