Job summary

ATS Companies is hiring a Design Engineer to design and engineer control system hardware and software for building automation projects. You will provide analysis of building control and mechanical system performance, ensure documentation accuracy, and interface with customers for project management.

The role includes managing sub-contractors and suppliers and contributing to project financial reports as tenure grows.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer programming experience.
• Building mechanical system experience.
• Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits.
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Complete control system overall design responsibility.
• Control programming and graphic development.
• Manage the start-up and commissioning of Building Automation Systems.
• Engineer field changes and maintain as-built documentation.
• Conduct on-site owner training as part of project closeout.
• Execute project management tasks including job planning, labor planning, scheduling, fiscal analysis.
