Job summary

ATS is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Critical Facilities team, designing and engineering building automation and energy management systems aligned with energy codes and sustainability goals. You will analyze system performance, develop programming solutions, build front ends, and coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers on project sites, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering; Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
• Exposure to electronics and basic electrical circuits.
• Experience with basic programming concepts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system performance at campus level and ensure documentation.
• Provide analysis of building control and mechanical system performance.
• Create project-specific programming solutions to optimize efficiency.
• Build custom front ends for end-users to interface with the system.
• Interface with customers, subcontractors, suppliers and project team.
• Program DDC and PLC systems to meet project specs.
• Track project financials through monthly audits.
• Contribute to company-wide standards and continuous improvement.
