Job summary

ATS is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Critical Facilities team in building automation and energy management. You will design and engineer control systems aligned with energy codes and sustainability initiatives, while coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure project success.

You will analyze system performance, create programming solutions, and develop front-end interfaces for end users, contributing to continuous improvement and project financials.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
• Experience with electronics and basic circuits helpful.
• Experience with basic programming concepts.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems and DDC theory.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system performance at system and campus level with accurate documentation.
• Provide analysis of building control and mechanical performance at multiple levels.
• Create project-specific programming solutions to optimize building efficiency.
• Build custom front ends for end users to interface with the system.
• Interface with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members.
• Program DDC and PLC systems to meet project specs and mechanical requirements.
• Track project finances through monthly audits and end-of-project reviews.
• Contribute to company-wide standards and continuous improvement.
