Job summary

ATS Automation in Georgia seeks a design engineer to design and engineer control system hardware and software per project plans. You will analyze building control and mechanical system performance and ensure documentation accuracy, interfacing directly with customers.

Lead sub-contractor management, oversee start-up and commissioning, and assume increasing project financial responsibility using ATS project management reports. Requires an engineering degree and PLC/electronics experience.

Qualifications

• Engineering undergraduate degree is required.
• Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits is expected.
• Computer programming experience and building mechanical system experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Complete control system overall design responsibility.
• Control programming and graphic development.
• Manage the start-up and commissioning of Automation Systems.
• Engineer field changes and maintain as-built documentation.
• Conduct on-site owner training as part of project closeout.
• Manage time to complete assignments on time and within budget.
