Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands seeks a Builder Services Project Manager 2 to ensure accurate quotations, purchase orders and work orders while delivering prompt, courteous responses to customer requests.

The role emphasizes owning low to medium complexity projects, reviewing others' work, and coordinating with builders, sales managers and internal teams to keep pricing and schedules aligned with the project scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 8 years industry experience in sales, estimating, engineering, drafting, or project management.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
• Effective written and verbal communication as well as mathematical skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit mastery of low and medium complexity technical projects, to own complete execution.
• Review jobs processed by other team members for accuracy, class 1-8 orders.
• Provide accurate processing of orders, quotations and inquiries from builders with clear write-ups.
• Communicate drawing and shipping schedules with customers/builders after they are established.
• Verify pricing reflects scope of work defined on Purchase Orders.
• Respond to all Customer, Builder and District Sales Manager inquiries promptly.
• Analyze cost and scheduling impact of Change Orders with Customers/Builders.
• Price and process Change Orders promptly to maintain margins.
• Collaborate with other departments to exceed customer expectations.
• Improve understanding of Cornerstone Building Brands products and read/interpet plans.
• Be a creative, positive partner with personnel in other departments to provide required level of service to meet/exceed customer expectations.
