Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Builder Services Project Manager 2 in the United States. The role focuses on accurate quotations, purchase orders, and work orders, ensuring prompt, courteous responses to customer requests.

You will manage low to medium complexity technical projects and collaborate with multiple teams to exceed customer expectations. The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 8 years industry experience in sales, estimating, engineering, drafting, or project management.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit mastery of low and medium complexity technical projects to own execution.
• Review jobs processed by team members for accuracy, class 1-8 orders.
• Process orders, quotations and inquiries from builders with clear communication and write-up.
• Communicate drawing and shipping schedules with customers/builders.
• Verify pricing reflects defined scope of work on PO.
• Respond promptly to customer, builder and District Sales Manager inquiries.
• Analyze cost and scheduling impact of potential Change Orders and notify affected departments.
• Price and process Change Orders promptly to maintain margins.
• Collaborate with other departments to exceed customer expectations.
• Improve understanding of Cornerstone Building Brands products and procedures, and read architectural plans.
• Be a proactive partner with other departments to meet customer needs.
