Job summary

The Norfolk Companies is seeking a Builder Sales & Design Consultant to grow builder partnerships across Greater Boston. This field-based role develops new business, manages long-term accounts, and helps clients select cabinetry, countertops, millwork, and other building products from concept through completion.

You will visit job sites, support projects, and collaborate with showroom, design, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in building products such as cabinetry, millwork, or flooring.
• Experience working with builders, contractors, or remodelers.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
• Design experience or aptitude (20/20 Design, AutoCAD, or similar is a plus).
• Self-motivated and capable of independent work.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel throughout Greater Boston.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with builders, remodelers, and contractors.
• Prospect and win new builder accounts.
• Grow existing customer relationships.
• Consult on cabinetry, kitchens, baths, countertops, millwork, and hardware.
• Create product selections and design solutions.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and project documentation.
• Visit job sites and support projects throughout construction.
• Partner with showroom, design, and operations teams.
• Manage your sales pipeline in HubSpot CRM.
• Meet and exceed sales goals.
