Job summary

Skilled Trades Partners in Exeter, NH is seeking an experienced Kitchen & Design Consultant for a direct hire, full-time role. You will blend kitchen design, sales and customer service to help homeowners, builders and contractors bring projects to life.

You will meet with clients, create layouts using kitchen design software (20/20 Design, ProKitchen, Chief Architect), prepare estimates and proposals, and coordinate product selections with vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen design, interior design, cabinetry sales, or showroom sales.
• Ability to read floor plans and construction drawings.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Experience with kitchen design software such as 20/20 Design, ProKitchen, Chief Architect, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners, builders, contractors, and remodelers to understand project needs.
• Create functional and attractive kitchen layouts using kitchen design software.
• Assist customers with cabinetry, countertops, hardware, flooring, doors, windows, millwork, and other building products.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and design presentations.
• Coordinate design revisions and product selections.
• Follow up on quotes and help convert opportunities into sales.
• Work closely with sales, estimating, purchasing, operations, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Ensure projects are accurate and complete before ordering; maintain an organized showroom/design center.
• Stay current on design trends, products, and industry innovations.
