Responsibilities

• Learn and become familiar with the property’s room outlets and answer general questions about the facility.
• Read food orders and prepare items according to established menu plans.
• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes for consistency.
• Wash, slice, peel, and cut foods for cooking or serving.
• Observe doneness and test foods by tasting or using utensils.
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and quality standards in all procedures.
• Coordinate with dining room staff and communicate orders clearly.
• Complete prep items as listed on prep sheets.
• Operate and maintain work areas and equipment cleanly.
• Follow Health Department regulations on food handling and storage.
• Attend training programs as scheduled and perform side duties as assigned.
• Follow SOPs to ensure consistent execution of standards.
