Thornton Golden Corral is seeking a Cook to ensure the Hot Choice Buffet products are delicious, fresh, and prepared to recipe standards. You will focus on speed, cleanliness, and organization while maintaining product specifications and proper temperatures.

Responsibilities include grilling, stocking, assisting with carved meat options, inventory management, and upholding health and safety standards in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant atmosphere.

Qualifications

• The Cook duties include preparing Hot Choice Buffet products, maintaining quality and freshness, and following Golden Corral recipes and procedures.
• Maintain correct temperatures during cooking, holding, and serving, and ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Perform inventory, restock, and rotate stock using FIFO; assist guests with carved meat options when needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures.
• Grills items to meet quality standards and ensures items are hot and fresh.
• Restocks items at the Display Cooking Station when needed; assists guests with carved meat options.
• Maintains equipment and follows the buffet production guides to ensure shelf life and quality.
• Performs opening/closing procedures and adheres to health department regulations.
• Keeps buffet area clean, rotates food, and supports CSQ responsibilities.
