Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking an A&T Technician III on the 1st shift. This onsite role focuses on precision assembly and rigorous testing of high-precision products, reporting to the Assembly and Test Supervisor.

You will operate hydraulic and electrical test setups, document results, and ensure conformance to current specifications, while adhering to EHS standards and safety procedures. The position offers a rewarding, hands-on engineering environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 3 years related experience in a related technical field.
• Experience with diagnosing/troubleshooting mechanical components and test failures.
• Set up and perform operational tests of finished products on high precision test stands.
• Basic computer program skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Use and maintain the ERP system to record product builds, SN’s, and material use.
• Adherence to EHS and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly on complex systems that support an array of applications.
• Assemble products using torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, gauges and other devices; follow assembly instructions.
• Perform various test operations using hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical means to validate product acceptance.
• Work from drawings and instructions; document performance results and situations.
• Communicate test failures and support reworking products as needed.
• Ensure units are tested per current revision letters and report anomalies to supervisor.
• Use measuring equipment and tests to validate conformance to test requirements.
• Understand department production goals and communicate deviations as appropriate.
