Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking an A&T Technician III for the 1st shift onsite in the Buffalo/East Aurora, NY area.

You will perform precision assembly and testing on complex systems, following detailed instructions and using hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical test equipment. The role requires a high school diploma (GED preferred), at least 3 years in a related technical field, and strong skills with ERP systems, Windows applications, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English.
At least 3 years related experience in a related technical field.
Experience with diagnosing/troubleshooting mechanical components and test failures.
Set up and perform operational tests of finished products on high precision test stands using hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic test equipment, fixtures and tools.
Basic computer program skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).
Use and maintain the ERP system to record product builds, SN's, and material use.
This role requires strict adherence to EHS and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform precision assembly on complex systems that support an array of applications.
Assemble products utilizing torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, gauges and other devices.
Required to work from assembly instructions, both written and oral.
Perform various test operations using hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical to validate product acceptance.
Work from drawings, work instructions, parts lists or other instruction and provide detailed written communication defining performance results and/or situational circumstances.
Communicate common test failures and support reworking products as necessary.
Ensure that units are set up and tested in conformance with current revision letters and bring to the Supervisor’s attention any condition that is abnormal.
Utilize mechanical or electronic measuring equipment and perform tests to validate the acceptance of the model to current test requirements.
Understand the production goals of the department and communicate deviations as appropriate.
