GS-12:

To be eligible at the GS-12 level, you must meet have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11.

Specialized Experience:

• Defined as monitoring the execution of a budget with many different sources and types of funding; reviewing accounting documents for budget execution activities such as obligations, payments, corrections, and adjustments; presenting findings and recommendations to top levels of management; preparing estimates; auditing expenditures; and utilizing an automated financial management information system to enter financial data, track funds, and develop reports.
