Job summary

North Carolina Judicial Branch, District Attorneys' Conference, seeks a Budget Manager to build and guide the Council’s budgeting and financial management from the ground up. You will translate statewide priorities into sound budgets, provide analyses, and support leadership decisions across prosecution programs.

You will collaborate with leadership, program staff, and state partners to establish budgeting policies, monitor expenditures, and ensure fiscal compliance in a service-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university and three years of experience in business administration or a related field.
• Experience with budgeting and financial planning in a governmental context preferred.
• Ability to translate fiscal goals into monetary requirements and communicate complex financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Budget execution and oversight across program budgets and funding sources.
• Budget development and position management, including requests and analyses.
• Legislative coordination and external relationships with budget offices and state agencies.
• Reporting and financial systems management and data integrity for annual outputs.
• Budget function leadership and collaboration with Council leadership and program partners.
