Job summary

North Carolina Council of District Attorneys is seeking an Accounting Manager to help build its accounting operations. You will oversee AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with budget codes and NCFS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• Five years of accounting experience in government or public sector.
• Supervisory experience preferred; leadership capabilities.
• Certification preferred (CPA/CMA/CGMA) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
• Record and reconcile transactions in NCFS; manage budget codes and funds.
• Supervise a small fiscal team and establish priorities.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
