Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health in Southeastern Ohio is seeking a Budget Analyst to manage budgeting and financial analysis across the organization. You will prepare monthly budget reports, monitor expenditures, forecast needs, and support grant spending and close-out reporting.

Required: 2 years of accounting/financial analysis experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of applicable laws. Bachelor’s degree preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping experience, or financial analysis are required.
• Experience in accounting or other financial management fields is required.
• Understanding of applicable laws and regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, analyzes, and reviews budget proposals and funding requests for external funding, including grants.
• Prepares detailed reports relating to budgets, revisions, and performance.
• Monitors budgets and notifies leadership of variances.
• Oversees expenditures and analyzes spending trends.
• Interfaces with funders to resolve issues and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
• Generates and monitors the budget to actual financial activities.
