Job summary

Penn Line Service, Inc. is seeking a Bucket Operator to support clearing and removal of trees along electrical power lines and rights-of-way. The role uses an aerial bucket truck to reach branches near lines and may involve climbing with equipment.

This position requires 6 months of bucket experience, CDL preferred, and readiness to travel across PA, MD, OH, VA, and WV with occasional overtime and storm duty.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of verifiable bucket work or bucket operation in line clearance.
• CDL license/valid driver license preferred.
• Pesticide license beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to travel across multiple states as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clearing and removal of trees along electrical power lines and right-of-ways.
• Operate an aerial lift bucket truck to access branches near lines.
• Sawing, pruning, brush chipper use as needed; may climb trees with equipment.
• Work schedule includes 4-10 hour days with possible overtime and emergency storm duty.
