Job summary

Penn Line Service is seeking a Bucket Operator to clear and remove trees along electrical power lines. You will operate a bucket truck to access branches near live lines and use chainsaws, pruners, and brush chippers, with occasional tree climbing using safety gear.

The role requires at least 6 months of verifiable bucket experience and may require travel across PA, MD, OH, VA, and WV, with a flexible 4–10 hour schedule including overtime and storm duty.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months verifiable bucket experience in line clearance or residential tree work.
• CDL license or valid driver license preferred.
• Pesticide license beneficial but not mandatory.
• Willing to travel across multiple states as needed by contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clearing and removal of trees along electrical power lines and right-of-ways.
• Operate an aerial lift bucket truck to reach branches near lines.
• Operate chainsaws, pruners and brush chippers; may climb trees with equipment.
• Work 4-10 hour days with overtime and possible emergency storm duty.
