Job summary

Penn Line Service, Inc. is seeking a Bucket Operator to support vegetation management along electrical power lines. You will operate a bucket truck to access branches interfering with lines and may use chain saws, pruners, and a brush chipper. A CDL is preferred and climbing may be required.

The role involves traveling across PA, MD, OH, VA, and WV; typical schedules are 4-10 hour days with overtime and emergency storm duty as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 months of verifiable bucket trimming or bucket operation experience.
• CDL/valid driver's license preferred.
• Pesticide license beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clearing/removal of trees along power lines and rights-of-way.
• Operate aerial lift device (bucket truck) to reach branches near lines.
• Use chain saws, pruners, and brush chipper as needed.
• May climb trees using climbing equipment.
• Travel to various states as required; overtime may be necessary.
