Job summary

Penn Line Service, Inc. seeks a Bucket Operator to clear and remove trees along power lines and rights-of-way. You will ride a bucket truck to access branches, operate saws and pruners, and may climb trees using equipment.

A minimum of 6 months bucket experience is expected, with CDL/driver license preferred. Travel across PA, MD, OH, VA, WV is required, with overtime as needed. Work involves 4-10 hour days, potential overtime, and emergency storm duty.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of verifiable experience trimming from a bucket and/or operating a bucket in utility line or residential tree clearance.
• CDL or valid driver license preferred.
• Willingness to travel across states and work in varying locations with possible overtime.
• Experience with vegetation management tools is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clearing and removing trees along electrical power lines and rights-of-way.
• Operate an aerial lift device (bucket truck) to reach interfering branches.
• Use chain saws, pruners, and brush chippers; climb trees with equipment when required.
• Work schedule includes 4- to 10-hour days with overtime and emergency storm duty as needed.
